VNG hiring: Senior Graphic Designer, Web

Senior Graphic Designer, Web ̣(1 slot)

• Requirements
o Exceptional graphic design skills, artistic sense, and compositing abilities
o Strong understanding of information flow, readability, and interface usability principles
o Able to work within, and build upon the VNG art style
o Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
o Positive, problem-solving attitude
o Organizational skills
o A passion for user interface, and web page graphic design
o A passion for video games, and/or VNG games
• Pluses
o Experience collaborating with a dedicated user experience team
o Proficiency in creating vector graphics with Adobe Illustrator
o Knowledge of video editing, and animation with Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects (or equivalent package)
o Experience designing pages for multiple form factors
o Past design experience on gaming industry websites

Designer, Web & Mobile (1 slot)

• Requirements
o A minimum of 3 years work experience in Web design
o Demonstrated experience with JavaScript and related libraries
o Experiences coding websites using latest technologies (HTML5, CSS3, jQuery)
o Artistic sense and good graphic-design skills, including fluency in Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator
o Good sense of website layout, usability, and design
o Understanding of SEO techniques and knowledge
o General knowledge of Flash development
o Interested in the latest developments in the areas of Front-end development and Web design
o Experience in optimizing multimedia content for the Web
o Passionate about good design
o Motivated self-starter and avid learner
• Pluses
o Fluent in French or other European languages
o Experience with ActionScript, Freemarker, and Adobe After Effects
o Experience in meshing together different types of media e.g. artworks, in-game screenshots, illustrations
o Passion for gaming and in-depth knowledge of VNG games
