Over a month ago I switched foods for my Oscura heterospila from Frozen Blood Worms to Tetra Colors/Hikari Sinking Cichlid Gold and the color transformations is huge.
First video: their normal green orangish, taken on Oct 5.
2nd & 3rd: taken today. They’re like a dark variant of the species. Black is the dominant color but green almost gone except on their fins. Orange/copper is more visible.
I’ve never experienced such transformation. Would love to hear from the more experienced. All I did was feeding 2 different foods (mentioned above). In fact, I was envious with Mr @[100008605184261:2048:Jim Cumming]’s group of the same species so I wanted to have a “little” experiment.
