Reading Mr. Alan's piece again — he says he witnessed it himself, but I don't believe it's real, because it matches the link above 100%. Google "do you know who I am?" and you'll find tons of urban stories about it. Which is why saying Vietnamese people are 50% descended from Lac Long Quan turns out to be accurate. Anyone claiming Vietnamese are humble, hardworking, gentle and kind — I don't fucking believe it.
