Beauty that needs no makeup, beauty that doesn’t care about black or white. It’s simply beautiful. That’s it.
This fish is the one I have the most feeling for. It was gravely ill once — I begged my mentor Jim Cumming for help and even he said there was nothing to be done. It also killed the two species I loved the most, 6 individuals each, plus 2 umbees on top… and yet it’s not guilty. A fish doesn’t commit sin — it’s just being itself: it wanted to claim territory so it could continue its bloodline. Don’t blame the fish; blame the inexperienced keeper… and now, just enjoy the one-of-a-kind natural beauty of the Blackthroat.
This is a fish from my own tank. The past few days I’ve photographed it endlessly and still can’t get tired 🥰🥰.
